Celebrating Memorial Park • Heartwood at Brown

Jill Brown opened her doors, Wednesday, March 5th and welcomed a full house at a party celebrating Memorial Park.

While on a recent trip to the wine country in California, Jill discovered the work of Nelson Byrd Wolz, and was excited to learn that it was the same landscape architectural firm chosen to reimagine Memorial Park. Her experience in the NBW gardens inspired the evening in her Houston shop. From the woodcut invitations to the hand-crafted food, the party was completely imagined and underwritten by Brown. Nelson Byrd Wolz books generously provided by Jill, and tickets for the event directly benefitted the Memorial ParkConservancy with it’s mission Restore, Preserve and Protect.
